Is there going to be a change with the full time 5 days in office policy or not what is with the constant decision making delay and teasing about changes. Absurd policy.

They will push for butts in seats, get used to it. Yes it's its ridiculous with Teams, VPN and working in different locations. No they won't change unless forced with another pandemic or people refuse to work there. I chose the latter.
@gm yep its really tax incentives to have your butt in a chair in an office. You can read about Fiserv HQ moving to Milwaukee downtown here: https://www.wuwm.com/2022-10-28/fiserv-inc-to-move-headquarters-to-downtown-milwaukee-if-financial-incentives-approved
And there of course is the other explanation that executive leadership team has investment states in real estate which would incentivize them to bring employees back to an office.
@c2 it’s actually that everyone gets 15 wfh days and high performers get 20. And they base the ‘high’ on something above meets expectations on reviews. I’m sure no one would squawk if we all took 20 days.
I’ve heard through the layoffs.com grapevine that they have to have a five day in office rule because of the tax breaks we get. I assume so we use local stores and restaurants.
@d6 we off tomorrow 🚨 you can WFH
You can WFH tomorrow.
@bc It's called autocorrect. Like you never had typo in your emails. If that qualifies you as "corporate professional" then you missed the point.
@ch yes, thank you for the correction. Yes, I rely too much on autocorrect and that one wasn’t caught.
@bq *Honestly
@bs I think the policy grants 12 WFH days to high performers which raises an odd question : does that mean everyone else isn’t entitled to basic flexibility. but how exactly is ‘high performance’ measured? Without clear, objective criteria, this just hands managers more discretionary power over employees, dressed up as a merit-based perk. Specially, Managers who are less qualified to be in that position.
I thought managers don't even monitor that anymore? Can't you just work from home anyways?
@bc 😂 turning off autocorrect and just choosing chaos. There was a time when I felt bad about correcting people. Look where’s that has gotten us, more “ridiculous” people in charge. I say bring back shaming again. Honesty, some people just need correction and attitude adjustment.
Not being able to spell, "ridiculous" as a "corporate professional" is even more ridiculous.
@OP I agree needs to change. 5 days in office is rediculious
Doubt its changing
@a7
The fact we have to be in the office 5 days a week is this changing soon or not
What are you referring to?
