How do I get a Sponsor? I just transferred to another team and I do not know any of the Supervisors like the others on the team do. I need a sponsor obviously to be able to get a ranking that will allow me to keep my job, so how do I go about getting a good sponsor?

Google it. Once you find it, you can sign up if you are a high performer. Not sure if you are a high performer?… ask your supervisor or HR. Good luck on your journey. May the force be with you. Your welcomes.

What exactly are you wondering about? That someone would ask how to get a sponsor? I mean, how are people supposed to get one? Is there sponsor avails list somewhere for sponsees to pick from? Are sponsors assigned by HR or some other governing body, or do recently transferred employees just wander the halls until someone agrees to adopt them? What is mystery here?
First step is to admit you are powerless over stack ranking. Next goto/sponsormatch.com and fill out the intake form. Register as “Ranking Vulnerable / Recently Transferred” From there, they’ll pair you with a certified sponsor who can help you turn your career over to the care of a supervisor greater than yourself. It works if you work it… or at least if your sponsor has more pull than the people trying to get rid of you. Good luck Charlie.
