All this talk about improving culture and recognition and then after three years in a group when I transfer out my supervisor can’t even be bothered to circulate a thank you card. Don’t let the door hit you on the way out is our culture. Oh but you know the chosen ones had nice good mate lunches with management thanking them and gushing over them with a nice going away present.

I was thinking of switching to an HSA next enrollment. Are we allowed to transfer our funds from the employer-sponsored HSA to a different service provider (like Fidelity)? I've never had an HSA so I was curious about the process.

3M GSC Poland is gonna be officially shut down. Of course they did a workaround and they're gonna "move" people instead of firing them so they can save on severances. Philippines and CR are next. Under terms FIS is going to pay markup on existing salaries to Cognizant. The usual contract is for 6 months and 30 to 50% markup.

Around X-Mas time, 6 months contract time will be coming to an end. FIS will say bye bye to all of you.
Cognizant salaries are peanuts. The pay Senior Database Architect 120K max. In short, you will not find new project in Cognizant.
During 2026 holidays, Cognizant manager will send you a sweetly worded letter, telling you that your job is being shelved.

Layoffs are scheduled to begin soon. They will take place between May 29 and June 12. Senior employees have specific transfer rights. These employees hold union membership. They can transfer to other stores nearby.

So, I see the layoffs but they been hiring 100s to a 1000 plus of Data Center Technicians recently? Maybe the smart idea is to just say hey I’m gonna transfer to Abilene as a Tech and then after the layoff say megamind something came up.

Help me understand how 1 team lays off one employee and then pulls another employee from a different team to fill a position on the team they just laid someone off on? Couldn't they have transferred the employee they just laid off?

Word on the FIS layoff thread is that TSYS team members who are moving over there will be laid off this month.

Notification went out today to TSYS team members who will remain part of GP and will not move to FIS. Current legal entity is TSYS and that will shift to Global Payments.

My boss does not tell me the truth all the time. This is the current story, please help me untangle it. My current boss is a State Farm agency owner. He signed the newer State Farm Agent Agreement years ago and has his own agency. He has a friend who also signed the newer State Farm Agent Agreement years ago and has a local State Farm agency. The "Friend Owner" wants to retire without giving up his agency. I am being transferred to "Friend Owner" who will teach me to be the office manager. I also have my P&C, Health and Life licenses. "Friend Owner" stopped selling and just writes policies if they walk in the door. I know that State Farm has production goals that need to be met. I also know that State Farm has the right to close agencies that are not selling or have absentee owners. My current boss said that State Farm does not close agencies and doesn't have the right to close agencies. I believe that he is not being honest. Does State Farm actually close underperforming agencies? Is there any proof that they do?

I’m wondering if any HCSC employees have moved into a role that directly supports the Health Spring business yet? I don’t mean your team is ‘getting work’ or ‘waiting for access to start working on HS stuff’. I mean, you have onboarded into a role that is directly supporting Health Spring now. Since many of their people have quit and transitioned employees can’t apply for anything for 1 year, I figure HCSC employees are moving into the roles. What is the process like since the systems aren’t integrated yet? Anything odd come up that you didn’t expect?
