It’s time
Itai, if you’re reading this, it’s time. He has to go. Just do it.
Exit Date July 13 for those notified after May 13 earnings - many choices internal role or outside
Comments if your exit date is set as your departure (taking the package), Or choosing to roll. There are few internal jobs posting but not sure if real or posted just for fake pretend. I applied for every job I could, over 100 internal jobs. Four interviews, but no offer.
Tough job market currently, hope few land.
VSP Proposal
Those of us taking VSP should wear a Hoody on our last week in conference calls in honor of the fearless leader. 😄
System access
Do you know when do we lose system access if we're laid off? The moment we're notified or at a later time?
Got my notice today
After many, many years it is my time to leave the stage coach. I ran to the store, bought myself some drinks and floated in the pool with friends. It’s a great day
Time to go
This is the perfect moment to think about exiting. Leadership has shown their true colors. We know they don't value people, but only care about their own bank accounts. Our reputation is completely shot and new talent won't touch us. Time for us to start looking out for ourselves.
Who is hoping for NSI this assessment season?
PIL sweetening the pot in the way out the door
Waiting Game!
While I have survived tons of RIFs, I have never seen this company or the company I came from when we merged, offer a VSP. I’m tired. I’m sick. I am ready to leave so I applied.
Anyone else did? Yes? No? Considering? Thoughts or theories about this? Share it!!
Resignation
Resigned but manager ignoring, last day of notice is next week. If he doesn’t acknowledge my resignation in workday and I still don’t get off boarding or any kind of acknowledgment of resignation or instructions , can I just walk my laptop to tech express and give badge to security last day? This is ridiculous behavior for a company that “loves attrition”, make it, make sense!!
Admins at Centene?
How likely is it that they eliminate administrative staff? On the one hand, they wouldn't function well without us, on the other hand they constantly underestimate how much operational impact we have. I'm just getting tired of worrying about job stability every couple of years. Maybe it's time to take the exit. IDK...
Another EVP Leaving/Left PayPal, Kausik Rajgopal
No press release from PayPal yet but they are usually asleep so no surprises there.

Was there a RIF on March 31?
Seems at least one person got the axe on March 31
layoff date
When will invites for July layoff happen ?
You guys don’t read anything
Idk why no one read or listened to the “London Calling” episode…. VSP offers expire 7/1. They’ll base the number of the layoff based on how many people took VSP’s. Everyone who is gonna be laid off will be notified by the beginning of August. Emails with offers are going to most everyone, you’ll get an email at some point today. It’s in waves. If you’re already having a foot out the door, take the offer and ready to move on from Centene, take the offer.
It’s Go Time!
Like seriously, go! It’s time to leave.
Communication
I'm curious what type of communication was sent to employees about the exit and new CEO. Hopefully they have an all hands and give reassurance.
AI not cost effective.
Reports have shown that the average data center has a turn over of 7 years. After 7 years, you either add to, scale out or build a bigger better revamped datacenter. For AI, the estimated average is every 2-3 years at 1 billion (or more) each time.
Companies are now looking for ways to back out of it after already throwing 500 million or more into it without looking like it was a mistake. Dare I say they are using AI in order to try to figure out the best spin control to justify pouring money into AI and NOW trying to back out of it. LOL
Is or does Citi fall into this category? I dunno but I do know that other companies are pumping the brakes just a bit and are looking at exit strategies.
Where should I go after Dell ?
Either gonna quit or possibly just thug it out
HSA 7508
When? Plan to leave after!!!!
Starting at Optum | Have an exit plan
After accepting a job at Optum, be sure to have a solid exit plan within 12 months. This is about how long it will take them to decide to replace you.
Pattern: Hire, layoff, replace, repeat.
Other pattern: Hire, layoff, AI, ??!?
Restructuring is constant. It does not matter if you are a high performer. They hire a consulting firm to evaluate demographics of employees when conducting layoffs to prevent discrimination lawsuits. May the odds be ever in your favor.
AI AI AI AI
How secure are you in your job ?
My day to day has been completely replaced with codegen.
Everything from coding, reviewing and analysis.
I havent used my brain in months, everything is done by AI.
Its a blessing and a curse.
As soon as they can resolve the issue with accountability, you will be made redundant and unemployable.
What is your exit strategy ?
So when does it start in earnest, if it's to be completed by June 15?
Also, the sooner the better. Still some chance at severance, at least. I can't wait to have this forsaken place in the rearview mirror.
You'd think that after all these cuts, we'd be left with its strongest performers
Sadly, that's far from what happened here. The people who knew how to play politics, who knew how to hide during the bad times, they're the ones who mostly survived. Most of the people who actually knew how to lead, who had real skills and real experience, they're gone. What we've got left is the worst management team I've ever worked under and most of the rest of us who do the work looking for an exit.
Run for the door
Seriously, everyone should be updating their resume and be actively looking, and when you find something you like get the he-l out because if you wait till the day of that unexpected TEAMS call you will be fu@ked. At this point I would not be expecting any kind of a severance package. What little money they have will go to pay the Sr. Exec group their high 6 and 7 figure payouts before it all crashes.
Decent advice from @ep+1kr20x9vq.
Dysfunction, Dysfunction, Dysfunction: Bring Back the Chevron of 2010
I have been with this company since 2009. I started when it was HES and watched it transition into HSE (because someone's favorite thought it sounded better). I have worked across multiple parts of the function, including remediation and operations. At the lower levels, the work was solid and the mission was clear. As I moved up over the last 15 plus years, the reality became impossible to ignore.
For years, I dismissed the posts on this site as noise from disgruntled employees or people upset after layoffs. I genuinely believed the dysfunction being described could not reflect the Chevron I knew. I was wrong, and I am disappointed in myself for not listening sooner.
What I have seen at the senior levels is staggering. A function led by people who have never worked in the field. Leaders who talk endlessly to sound informed but contribute nothing of substance. Leaders who take credit for the work of others and present it as their own. A culture where competence is optional but connections are everything.
And yes, the nepotism is real. If you are tied to the right executive by blood or marriage, you are untouchable. I have personally seen performance ratings overridden because someone was someone’s daughter. That is not leadership. That is not integrity. That is not the Chevron many of us committed our careers to.
Everything I once dismissed as exaggeration has turned out to be true.
After more than 15 years of service, I am planning my exit. I will stay until I secure my next role, but it is clear this is no longer the organization it once was and no longer the place for me.
It is time to go.
"Astad Dhunjisha, who leads Talent Acquisition ..
has announced his intention to leave the business effective June 6." This departure marks yet ANOTHER high profile exit from AT&T.
Got put on a PIP
I guess I should start packing my bags?
Is Choy off payroll?
Has this delightful person left yet?
Thinking about resigning
What are the odds they make me actually work the 2 weeks (not a direct competitor or operator)? Any advice on how “best” to leave?
Lawyer Up
I hate hearing everything that current employees are dealing with. It su-ks. It was a great company and I was proud to work there. I worked at Fannie Mae for nearly 20 years.
I was part of a big layoff several years ago. I was laid off just before a large scale early retirement package was set to be offered (and it was widely known this was happening!). With my downsizing, I was offered an AWFUL exit package (with no extended insurance and less $ than expected). So I hired an attorney.
I HIGHLY recommend that anyone laid off - do not sign your letter before you speak to a qualified attorney. Trust me - you’re leaving a lot of money on the table.
EXIT DATE, PACKAGE AND INTERNAL JOBS LISTINGS
As CR stated, 75% of LR will be re-hired where needs are. True or baloney? Everyone getting four months salary with benefits, then COBRA? Exit date set to July 14?
Did team leaders announce send off and good luck meetings? Or a nice kick in rear, and message - have a nice day….
Guess what ELT
You'll have to offer another round of severance packages to get me to leave.
30% is really 50%
EM announced a target of 30% India, 30% Spring, and 30% sites. Hidden in those numbers are at least 30% of the people at Spring will be from India and 30% of people at sites will be from India. So real target is 50% of all EM employees will be working for 1/8 normal salaries.
They want as many people on normal salaries to quit as possible, or exit via the NSI layoff scheme.
Announcing the % of normal salary employees that Need Significant Improvement prior to the start of assessment is actually just a layoff target without notifying the Texas Labor Board.
When you leave, who can read your emails?
I was laid off a couple of month's ago.
Out of curiosity, I sent a test email to my old address to see what happened. There was no bounce back reply from the server.
Does that mean my mailbox is still active and someone like my old boss has control of it now?
The Last one out please turn off the lights.
It’s the last train to Clarksville people.
Long past time to exit stage left.
