Thread regarding Fidelity National Information Services Inc. layoffs

Another one gone

Another skilled person gave 2 weeks notice today...another skilled top level Engineering manager gone and multiples of teams left in limbo and at the whim of id--ts. No plan, no resolution, nothing from these clowns. I wish they'd lay me off already. 2 years of this has been enough.

@ve - Flex Fridays are a joke. It’s going to take a lot more than that to repair the damage they have done. Honestly, it’s more repairable - FF is just a poor excuse for a cork in a rapidly sinking ship.

This is why Flex Fridays. They are realizing the environment they created. But most people I talk to have said it’s still too little too late. They created a disaster even managers that have been there for years see it as a sinking ship.

We’ve hired great people in our org over the last 9 months and a good portion of them have already resigned. They see this po-p show of a place and peace out of here before they get too comfortable like the rest of us su-kers waiting to be RIF’d.

Ouch, that hurts when someone whom you value leaves. Camaraderie plus talent is a the combination that makes a team really sing. So sorry that you lost such good manager!
