QA/LCAR Got Hit Hard With Layoffs Today

Several teams across several Managers got laid off mostly at core sites (Chandler/TX), too). While it wasn’t totally unexpected, us hourly employees usually just got moved to a new team and all was good, but not this time. There were appx 15 on our team who got let go. Not sure if the Managers were displaced as well.

People are surprised these useless overpaid functions keep getting cut?

Some of us could retire at any time, we've just stayed because we know Shart will pay us to leave. I'm not leaving 26 checks on the table. That said, as a general rule for younger workers, it makes sense to head for the exits.

@OP how apropo. You should wish you were let go a year or two ago. When the job market was much better. My guilty pleasure is watching all you core location people suffer the 2 week rotation. Is today the day? Is it termination Tuesday for me? Did you care when your peers were laid off because of location? Did it just give you false hope that has now gone poof? Did you think, that’s too bad? They should have moved? I rejected a relo package because I was smart enough to see moving was pointless. I knew it wouldn’t protect me. Did you all ignore the efficiency messages for the last 10 years? Now that AI is in the game those of you dingle berries on the Charlie train feel the burn. No worries though. You’ll end up getting flushed down his toilet soon enough. Hope you can swim. I need some popcorn.

@a3 you work here, you should understand the acronyms, or at least be able to do a TeamWorks search to find the stuff you should already know

My loudspeaker suggestion is to replace our mousey looking CEO who cannot speak publicly without a TON of verbal crutches (um…ah…….uh…..) with a real leader of people. Never heard back. The bank, CEO, and all of his cronies are hot garbage.

QA = Quality Asdurance
LCAR = Loudspeaker, Customer Impact, Analysis, and Reporting.
ECRL= Enterprise Complaints, Remediation, and Loudspeaker.

So ECRL-land.
