Thread regarding Wells Fargo & Co. layoffs

Got Displaced Today

I got displaced this morning and feeling bad for myself as I have always given 110%. While trying to get additional info from “HR” and trying to communicate with a rep in the philllipines who (besides barely speaking English) didn’t show any empathy or compassion for the companies own employees, THAT was the solidification I needed to say a big F U C K Y O U to this company who treats their American employees like trash, especially when you need them the most. This job loss might be the best thing to have happened to me.

@OP at least Filipinos are easier to understand rather than trying to talk to Indians. when I got laid off over a year ago.. was super frustrated trying to get some important documents filled out by our HR dept after being displaced. Had to call 3 separate times to get it straightened out. wells has really gone down the toilet. Too bad. And I am reading some of the snotty comments on this forum and you can tell the Indians are adding their comments here. Hope they enjoy their fun, nothing lasts forever. 😆

@bk

True that about the junk mail folder. It had my consent to choose lump sum or regular severance pay in there.

Watch your email for two emails from cisive. They will contain your login information for severance package information. Keep an eye on your junk mail folder because they will probably land in there. You should get both within three business days. It’s going to be okay.

The leadership at Wells is so trashy. I’ve worked many places and WF stands out as the least impressive. Better things ahead.

I was not displaced but probably would have today if I had stayed. Most of my old group was let go today. I am so thankful I took the leap and escaped the dumpster fire known as Wells Fargo. You will find a better fit, because let's be honest, Wells is abusive not only to employees but customers as well. Good luck on the next chapter!

I got laid off earlier this year, took me a few months of full time job searching but eventually landed a new job and while the pay is a little less, I see myself being much happier. The sting will wear off eventually, enjoy this time and look forward to what's to come

Everybody should immediately quit and enjoy the indisputable benefits of unemployment.

I am sorry you got displaced. Especially because you give it your all and more and that you care. The enterprise says it’s a business. But this fu--ing business employs people and we are more than an EIN. You are more than that and I feel bad for you. Now you can find different ways to thrive. Live in and grow.
