ISG had some terrible SVP's, but SG is by far the worst. He never had any care for his staff as human beings, just work them to death and demand they work on tasks "in parallel". The guidance coming from him was contradictory at best. Quality was communicated as priority #1 unless it was 2 days from release then suddenly new features needed to be jammed in regardless of quality. Hmmm, I wonder why quality suffered....the ki-ler is in the house!! PPDM was never a strong product, but his leadership directly ensured it's failure. Best of luck to the impacted Irvine staff. The silver lining is that you no longer need to deal with the mess that org has become.
gulve?
@g4 Good God, just sp-t it out already. They all su-k!
@eq Just look at the leadership chain and stop at the Senior VP. His initials is embedded in ISG.
‘Some’ would rather ‘not’ call his name out directly.
@bd haha. You gave hints, but I still don’t know who you’re referring to (calling the shots on the layoffs). Can I have a third hint? 😂. Genuinely want to know. Thank you.
Well atleast the top that some nat's RSUs are safe for next march vesting. Sc--w the employees families.. who cares as long as he can get his next property..
@bd Heard the same thing for the people layed off here in india and hopkinton the same person was mentioned to have had a hand in the layoffs.
wasn't PPDM the north star, everything built around it. Sounds like Data Protection has nothing left. PPDM, CR gone. Times, they are a changing.
They are gone the entire team from my understanding was let go no one left. The orders apparently came from some one who starts with some and ends with nat. Hes unhappy with remote workers and gave the reason for the layoff as remote work.
Because PPDM never met a single promise since Dell announced it was going to pretend they knew something about developing a. Enterprise solution organically. PPDM was a piece of sshhiitt from the get go! Dell Engineering couldn't develop a pong game and Dell Product Management would't know how to produce requirements for a pong game.
@a2 meaning?
Yes, Gandhi like Mahatma
