Just looked at Akira org chart. They have more VP and directors than actual employees. This is gonna be a blood bath

So Joe and Glen were planning this all along? Throw in james from level 3? Was he the mastermind? Consolidate the 3 companies, hand it over to Jeffrey so he can walk away and leave Kate the hammer and final nail. Diabolical.
@f3
Just have to let all the non union workers go first
@hh ?
Is exactly like that they lay off really good people and then they hired executives instead this company has gone to sh-t quickly
Merry Christmas!
What did you find in your sick? 🪨
@dw As long as the company follows the contract they can let every union employee go.
@dw not familiar with how things work at all. Contract only means something if you have a job.
@e1 big difference
@dw People thought with the Auto Plants in the Midwest too in the 80s. They had a union contract and supposedly safe. Most of those areas are ghost towns now.
@dn cwa. We have a contract until March 2029. We’re not going anywhere.
@dn No, they are actively backfilling maintenance and broadband tech positions. Goal is 5-6 maintenance techs per garage in the areas I’m talking about. Won’t be handled by contract.
@dm The remaining copper will be maintained by a handful of techs, likely contractors, on existing contracts. Legacy CenturyLink/Qwest employees will be virtually wiped out in two years.
@bf it’s not June 2027. Copper will be maintained for the next 7 in several states due to contract obligations. After that - it’s a toss up
I meant Qwest and CenturyTel. 😁
Yup! Just like what Lumen has been planning for the last 25 years.
The climax starts today!
June 2027 looks like the end date for copper, fortunately AI will collapse if history repeats itself....milk that cow.
Upper LEadership battles, Round 1 -Fight !
Where did you see the org chart ?
@a8 congratulations welcome to Lumen., you will be laid off in a matter of weeks.
So it's just like this place then
