Thread regarding Bank of New York Mellon Corp. layoffs

Today we got another proof…

How this company is so backwards. We got another ”people team” leadership. How many have we had in the last 6 years?? The out of touch CEO have no clue how bad it is here and no career trajectory for anyone unless you are a former GS executive or best pal with the EC.

Time to take summer vacation!

Good riddance SH

@ca SH must have been rated in the 25% Below Expectations (BE) category. PIP-N-GO off you go!

This likely has to do with the redefinition of what equal protection means by the Supreme Court this year. Changing goalposts from Federal gov

What i'm wondering is how SA landed that job in the first place. Does she even have any people/HR leadership skills?

@a9 Alejandro owns the People Team function. Alejandro will never fall on his sword for anyone. He’s another GS schizoid. He has a Mechanical Engjneering degree from Alabama and apparently knows more about chainsaws and headcutting than anyone else. Oh and apparently he has a real estate license too (unverified) since he terminates facilities contracts and shuts down facilities too. He must find it easier to terminate people when he has a ‘loyal’ subordinate lap dog by his side doing more dirty work for him. His new hire stooge will be forced out soon too.

BNY hired Unqork's former Head of Professional Services, Alejandro Perez, as their Chief Operating Officer around the exact same era.

This is how/why SA got the huge leap from her role at unqork to Bny.

Tell me how someone goes from being an associate for a year at unqork to leading the entire people team at an F500 company.

Only way is that she’s a yes woman and is willing to do whatever RV wants even crossing legal boundaries that SH wouldn’t. She’s going to absolutely be the fall guy when it all hits the fan in 2-3 years.

Exactly why I left. Saw the writing on the wall and got the heck out of dodge before it got worse.
