I think reorg is more likely. Probably coinciding with full time RTO.

@yv - depends on what area of HR you work in. Reqs are frozen and that’s about all the insight I have. If I had to guess, they will see the natural attrition numbers in mid September and then in October they will have their layoffs because they love October layoffs. Likely would keep people until year end. Sc--wing them out of their profit sharing because you have to be active on pay date.

I work in HR and can tell you i have heard nothing about layoffs in september. HR folks are just as upset as every one else. Imagine being part of the dynamic working teams that created the policies and everything else that went into it for the past 6 years or so only for it to be thrown out the window at the drop of a hat and forced to scramble to make RTO happen. HR is not happy either about all of the changes trust me.

If I just don’t come into the office and get fired can I collect unemployment?

@db - Used to bust my a-s and have always been one of the top performers on my team but they get the bare minimum from now on, at best. They have taken away too much and continue to do so, all while gaslighting people that it's not happening... or that it's a good thing. Used to be a great place to work and now every week you feel more suffocated.

They should have just done this in May so we could enjoy the summer off but these people are sadists. Imagine anyone who doesn’t want 100% RTO will be pretty happy with a layoff in September. I’m doing the bare effing minimum until September and even then will maintain that effort level.

Layoffs coming for all levels if you are making more than the average on that level. Su-k up to SVP's and A0's to stay in, else bid adieu. Best of luck got 6 weeks to go, lists are being formalized
