anyone hear if separation packages will be offered again? If yes, do we think the package will be any better than last time they were offered since they will be looking to get rid of many employees once merge is finalized (2 weeks for every year worked).

@jq Correct. It’s been like that for ages. I was laid off during the early ViacomCBS years and even then it was two weeks per year. That’s not changing anytime soon; People need to chill.
There was a time when Warner gave out 2-year packages. Maybe wishful thinking on my part but hoping they offer to the entire combined company.
the severance packages have been the same for the past 2-3 years.
I have no knowledge here either way but in general, severance packages get worse with each successive iteration.
After the merger I suspect there may be one but probably for the Warner side. Then they can see where the chips land and do a massive layoff
