Have you looked at the VSP email? They’re claiming that not applying for VSP doesn't mean you're on the chopping block later, but we all know how this usually goes. Does anyone have any idea how they’re actually calculating who gets impacted if they don’t get enough people to take the package? Let me know if you heard anything.

@OP No one knows how this really worked unless you have the word "Chief" at the beginning of your title. As a seasoned corporate employee, this is the first I have seen a VSP and I wish previous employers would have given me this option instead of trying with my emotions like Smokey (iykyk) and laying me off anyway. This was a heads uo that the company is going south and can't afford all mouths to feed and want you gone. My department has brought on.seasoned BA IIIs and IVs to ensure they have people that can handle the massive workload once the workforce is diminished, because the actual work and providers aren't going anywhere.
I haven’t heard anything, so I am just speculating here that regardless of how many took the VSP, I think they probably have a certain percentage or number of people to cut from either each or certain departments . My guess is if there are gaps in those numbers, some will still get let go.
