Too all MOW who work like dogs and all the sales reps and now RTM's who act like MOW dont do there jobs then how about you merchandise 400 cases daily and have messes left by lack of merchandisers at every store due to bieng understaffed, see what you can sell in, theres no time to even rotate or do backstock, the only way this company will ever be successful is if it hires enough people to do the job right, and they won't so the cycle continues. Get out and go to companies that respect hard workers. Tired of reps talking bs when they dont do half as much as most MOW on any given day.

@108 yes never understood why MOW would over order,its on you, backroom to shelf, let shelf sell down to rotate. No territory is staffed properly wy make it difficult.
@OP MOW are necessary, they do all the orders and merchandising for about 10 to 15 thousand less than the sales reps, they basically took over the sales reps job with no compensation and do everything the sales rep does except selling. Company saves money, thats all its about is money, and they are saving money making rtm do the merchandising managers job as well as selling. The bulk of the physical work is on the MOW, so yes I think they should be treated better for the amount of work that they do, sales reps dont have the physical pressure and stress on a daily basis unless MOW call off. And now RTM will have double the amount of work as the reps had, its just bad for everyone.

@op every rep did their time as a “MOW”. I guarantee your rep does so much more than you think and I also guarantee you’ve worked for Mondelez for a year or less. You’re probably one of the lazy merchs who we complain about
My current RTM said we are not allowed to sell in anything as we are not sales reps or territory managers that’s why they changed our position to mow. Stictly merching and order writing . No sales at all . Because they don’t want to pay us more they don’t ask us to sell as we can easily sue them . Take my advice and do what I do . If we are I in charged of the orders just do basic minimum cases orders . Don’t over work yourself . No point in sending big loads if we don’t get nothing out of it but more work and more loads for us to throw . Stick to the minimum and control your stores and you will have a easy route
Personally I only write minimum cases on my orders . Since I’m the one working then why would I send extra product to work lol
We can’t sell anything . We’re not allowed too. Huge lawsuit if they make you . We are only merchandisers and order writers . The rtm are in charges of selling . That is not our job description . If they do ask you too call HR cuz that’s a lawsuit .

It's a thankless job! Always has been, always will be. You'll learn to either accept that or move on
So many order writes and orders to work for MOW now,and they want to add more?...Nooooo,if we are the new sales reps then pay us like one! its been this way for awhile and it will get worse, company is a joke. End it!
It's going to get worse when you have to write all the orders, write up the credits, sell in all the displays, while the RTM try to be lazy and make you do all the work. I hope everyone walks out and quits.
