While I suspect the July 16th date is accurate, I believe VZ upper management is leveraging this platform to foster an environment of anxiety. This narrative feels designed to artificially drive up productivity and force compliance through job insecurity. We should anticipate VZ to run continuous fake info such as these supposed fake weekly upcoming layoffs. My strongest recommendation is to disconnect from this forum and proactively channel your energy into finding a better opportunity elsewhere. This is my last time ever opening this site. This is a psyop. Wake up.

- International employees who will be part of the JV couldn't care less about VZ
Definitely layoffs this week. I’ve been reading about it on this site but was told today by someone in upper leadership it’s going to be big. In retail btw.
Wrong. The insecurity makes everyone not do anything at all. Everyone is so worried about their jobs that nothing gets done and hasn’t gotten done in weeks.
@OP it’s not. Someone made it up
@OP Seems like it’s a lot of employees spreading fake info, not management. You guys freak out about everything
It is happening the 16th too, so definitely not fake info….
OP... How do we know you are not THEM, and saying this to drive people away. I've seen the most productive people let go in the last 3-4 years here... so being productive doesn't save anyone.
a. You're giving them way too much credit.
b. If that was their intention, it's having the exact opposite effect.
