Out of nowhere one of the VPs in OCI was let go and the team under him have no clue what’s going on. It’s this standard practice?

Oracle org charts are like a sandwich with 14 slices of bread and half a piece of ham hidden somewhere in the middle.
OMG, I can’t believe how many VP, SVP, EVP there are in the Oracle management chain.
I think everyone should have that title.

CX VP was moved in last reorg. Preparation for laying off the VP.
Too many management layers.
Probably a bad sign for the group where they were in charge. Probably resisting major cuts and got cut for it.
The team will be on the chopping block for the next round of layoffs.
