Yes. I’ve seen this happen, then they also start pushing people to update their career profile. Red flag!
Yes. May not actually get read, but just the act of having done such a thing looks 'responsible'.
What do you mean talent review? Goals/skills questionnaire?

Yep. They did this to me shortly before a re org. Seeing who they want to keep who they can transfer or who is no longer serving them. 1000%.
