I’m just curious. Aerospace rents out space at Resideo. i’ve been hearing that this part will no longer be part of Aerospace. So if information is true, will it be part of Aerospace technology.
Brno was divided into Resideo (factory), Grrett (former Turbo), Honyaero (Aero), and former SPS/IA. Homes, HBT and some other parts were ki-led.
IA now sold scanners to Brady, PPE was sold also to different company. Now Intelligrated is being separated as we were sold to AIP.
And Aero is now also completely separate company.
So former Honeywell in Brno was reduced to cca 50? guys remaining in one floor of one building.
In Slovakia Partizanske was ki-led. And Luton stuff is transferred into is Elster in Stara Tura, which is factory.
@d3 Brno is R&D facility, still working with hundreds of engineers in place. There is the other czech facility near Olomouc, which is manufacturing(still working too).
Didn't they close down the Brno facility in the Czech Rep years ago? Now they're in the cheaper country to send Americans' jobs to?
I worked with and helped train some Czech associates (I've been gone for a long time now) and found them to be very cultured, educated and willing to work. Of course the plan at that time was for them to take American jobs but that didn't pan out for them. What will come from Slovakia? Next will be Albania.
