@15k Do you know if it had a class action waiver, and what items the arbitration agreement covered?
@126 the reason why is the backend costs are so high. If they had a great post pto customer experience, that would mean actually spending money on their customers to resolve and fix their systems by sending a truck roll and replace / fix issues. It’s easier on them financially to just let the systems go down and cut a “performance guarantee” check at the end of year than actually spending money to resolve the issue. So, by offshoring jobs or replacing with AI, you have less aptitude of people (or bots) who want to actually help resolve these case issues. Additionally, project lighthouse is a joke. We don’t ever take care of our current customers, so why not take on a bunch of bankrupted systems and pretend like we’ll fix their issues when in reality we just get them stuck with another shady company.
@15f yes, I had to sign an arbitration agreement
@wt Is there an arbitration agreement or class action waiver in the severance agreement?
@ah Sunrun will never learn. They have offshored and onshore a million times. Whenever they have actually invested in customer care they start to see improvements and never give it the time it needs before they start cutting again. They love to stab themselves in the chest.
Are they also not being illegal by violating that state warn act though?
Unable to talk about being laid off due to fear of not receiving severance benefits. Sunrun is trying to keep it very quiet and threatened the confidentiality agreement we have to sign in order to get severance pay. Threatened if we say anything they can force us to pay back severance if found out .
The great replacement! AI taking over when in reality its the higher ups wasting money on trips and ho----s should be the ones fired!
@a6 automating jobs such as AI doing customer care jobs?
Not just customer care.
I’ve heard Accounting, Billing, Branch Ops, CX Pros, CX Strategy were all hit.
This is ridiculous. Anyone know if there was an arbitration agreement or class action waiver we signed?
Didn't we just bring customer care all back to onshore a few years ago to improve customer experience? lol, what a joke.
Was at corporate yesterday and was told that all of fourth floor customer care was let go because they are automating and what jobs were still needed are going to offshore
