Despite all the doom and gloom , departure, supposedly degradation of of support and other generally depressing moral, I feel that everything is business as usual. Am I missing something? I'm in product solutions or global ops now.

Major issues won't be immediate. They will appear over time as opportunities are missed, IOL becomes incapable of adjusting to changes, and there is no one left to fix problems when they arise
If you don't have the critical thinking skills to start to see the cracks forming at Imperial, you're probably either wage staff or admin, or you should be in line for a PIP.
P.S. you also don't seem to understand the difference between morale and moral, which would also correlate with your lack of observation skills.
John Whelan, is that you?
What are you doing here?
OP. Sounds like you have not been in a meeting with BTC,KLTC, DTI, GBC in Curativa, etc.
I would recommend to anyone for the comedic value. Which turn into tears after a few minutes.
For Global Ops, there has been less impact, as the most of the departures have been commercial and corporate roles at Quarry Park. Refineries and Upstream production will continue to run.
The impacts will be more significant in the long term. You've lost the key commercial folks working on significant commercial opportunities and profitability improvement items. Those impacts will be felt with missed opportunities next year and beyond.
If you cut off your business development and improvement capability, ops keeps running tomorrow. It comes back to bite you in the long run.
You are definitely missing something.
