Verizon employees are on the ropes. How many more body blows can they take before they get knocked out for good. The company is an utter mess at the moment. Employees are shell shocked and trying to keep their heads down whilst wondering if it’ll be them that are laid off next. Running a company based on fear and uncertainty only results in one thing : failure

You can go ahead and walk, but I won't. As long as they're paying me my inflated salary and giving me a ridiculous amount of time off, I'm going nowhere. If I get laid off, they'll pay me to go. Why would I ever walk out the door willingly?
Get out if you can. The grass is definitely greener outside. I was fortunate enough (at the time I did not think so) to be rolled off February 2026. I am so much happier at my new job.
@OP to all those out there feeling this way, take your future into you hands and leave this cess pool. Once Dan the man said layoffs would be a way of life, I submitted my first application later that day and found a new role in less than 2 months. Life is so much better on the other side and it can be for you too

Maybe this is the idea. Reduction by attrition ? They want this company to fail, so they can make it attractive (cheap) to an outside buyer. These oligarchs have nothing to do with telecom, Verizon or AI. They are here for one reason and one reason alone: money. You are in the way....
