I don't know if I'll get laid off or find something else first, but either way I'm out of here. Hard to find motivation when you know you're leaving.

I sit with a few directors who were referencing colleagues who got massive severances. One made a comment around how pre covid it would be devastating now it’s the dream. We all chuckled and went back to looking at share data.

I honesty believe the majority of the employees left in this corporate nightmare are “quietly quitting”. There is zero incentive to bust your a** for a bunch of incompetent “leaders” who show absolutely no appreciation and an even lesser commitment to their subordinates. “The PepsiCo Way”: push your employees so hard they end up working less and if they’re not laid off - they find the exit door soon as possible.
