Any info on whether Orlando will be a HUB. Or closing? We keep hearing rumors that we are definitely a HUB but then we watch as managers and reps disappear.

"so the WFH option for reps so they can sell the bldg and avoid severance pay"
The company doesn't send reps home and CONTINUE TO PAY salary and benefits to avoid severance pay. When they no longer have work for you they will happily jettison you from the payroll like the space shuttle spits out waste into space. Call center software tightly monitors who does what, so it can watch WFH pretty easily.
“…. is a company owned building, but has been neglected over the years; just the bare minimum to avoid complaints from the near by businesses on the campus. Grassed areas have been replaced with gravel, and the rest is mowed weeds. Inside, cubes are original, very worn and outdated and no longer maintained….”
Congrats. You have just described 95% of T’s real estate.
“ We keep hearing rumors that we are definitely a HUB…”
Really. From whom?
There really are no “hubs” and everyone should stop using that word. It’s meaningless.
Why TF do you think Orlando would be a hub? WTF is wrong with you. You are living in a Fantasy Land
Work from home from Disney parks. I bet you’d love that.

Yes, the Research Parkway (3 story building, 2 wings) is a company owned building, but has been neglected over the years; just the bare minimum to avoid complaints from the near by businesses on the campus. Grassed areas have been replaced with gravel, and the rest is mowed weeds. Inside, cubes are original, very worn and outdated and no longer maintained. Mostly union Mobility call center reps and contractors so the WFH option for reps so they can sell the bldg and avoid severance pay, same as all the other call centers that have closed.
Nope.
Someone posted a few weeks back a list of the hubs and Orlando wasnt one of them, it was Miami.
I didn't even know we had a location in Orlando
Orlando? LOL
Hub isn't an acronym, it doesn't get written in caps.
The ONLY people who think Orlando is a HUB, are people who work in Orlando.
Last I heard (from an L2), Research Pkwy was on a long term strategic list of real estate to be jettisoned. It’s mostly union, so the company has to find some way to avoid the legal red tape of sc--wing those employees.
