Relocation to hub in Gary, Indiana?

Have been hearing rumors around the office, that NJ and Bothell offices will soon be closed down, and employees will be required to move to the new hub in Gary, Indiana by the end of 2027.

Middletown, and a small population in Atlanta and Bothell are the brains of the operation. When they go all that's left will be kids, cowboys and fraudulent foreigners.

NJ is going to be around for at least another 3-5 years , after that and after the new Plano HQ is ready and whoever the next CEO will. Likely reshuffle the deck.

But in the meantime continue to expect a steady stream of small layoffs in NJ groups two folks were recently cut in my group.

Yup. It’s all about Gary. The most dangerous city in America. Tax incentives from the city sealed the deal.

Middletown is going nowhere, until they have squeezed as many people out as possible by making it uncomfortable as possible. Way too many high salary ppl in Middletown to pay severance and throw in the excessive WARN requirements in NJ and they need more ppl to quit.

Now, once that watermark is reached, then I’m sure they will achieve the final squeeze by reassigning ppl to “other” locations far away (maybe another hub or maybe Plain-oh)…
