Thread regarding Open Text Corp. layoffs

They laid off the whole Portfolio team and replaced it with... nobody

No kidding. These people laid off everyone in Portfolio then pushed their work to teams that have never heard of the product before. Literal people that support things like SiteScope now working Portfolio products with zero training on them. Just two people from my team took like 20 cases. We've been told we can just approve overtime for these cases but im not sure if even that is possible. Worst run company I have ever worked in, it was literally better when I worked at an outsourcing company.

OpenText is like the last kid picked for a Dodge Ball team and Portfolio is the dumpster outside the gymnasium.

Portfolio isn't a single product. It is where products go to die. No investment other than patches and fully staffed in India.

They’re deserved to be laid off. Never heard of this product or department or whatever.

@bm I assume last week as it was yesterday that one of the other managers took over the tickets while we give them out to the unlucky few. Both SCs and sales.

Did the portfolio layoffs happen this week? And was it SCs or sales?
