This is typical pay for a CEO. Nothing new!
Been with the company almost 15 years and I have watched Sarah drag down our stock, approve her department-heads to make changes that have cost up big, due to audits and fines and our 401K's have tanked! She has had more layoffs than ever, in the history of Centene and now MORE cuts. Mission Simplify moving toward streamlining and organizational effectiveness is a joke, when Centene has just partnered with Cognizant and is moving multiple jobs out for cheaper. Niedorff is probably rolling over in his grave with the joke she has made Centene into.

I wouldn’t expect anything less, this is the norm pay for a CEO.
If you want to have fun track the two tail numbers of the Centene planes. I'm not sure why someone with that level of privilege (except the pilot) would want to be in the Cayman Islands over a long weekend with 4 passengers and a pilot, 2 children, and a man and woman. You take it from there. I'm sure just the fuel alone would have done some good with our members.
Some folks treat an opinion like it is wrong simply because it does not sound miserable. But let us be real: nearly all CEOs pull in millions, and that system is not something we have the power to fix.

@a7 Not asking for millions! A livable wage and to not have a looming layoff over all of our heads would be nice and decent. People have the right to expect not to be laid off, I surely thought I would retire here.

Exactly, but most of us aren’t even bonus eligible, this company does not care about the people doing the day to day work and it’s sad.
