Evolving Our Organizational Structure…right

We are evolving our structure and operating model by aligning leadership and decision-making more directly to the needs of each business, while centralizing select capabilities that create value across the organization.

@jq Yeah, I made the same mistake. I was brought up on a farm in a midwestern state during a time where we were taught good values, one of which was that if you worked really hard you would be properly rewarded.

I think that works in farming and other blue collar careers but not so much in today’s corporate world. In corporate world today, better off just working your 8 hours and then “clocking out” and enjoying time with the family or hobbies or donating your time to a good cause or doing whatever brings you joy.

@e4 At 45 hours a week over the course of the year you are giving your employer about 250 hours per year.

For someone who says they spend time with family - that's almost 4 whole weeks of non paid work you are doing FOR FREE.

Great time to remind everyone here that if they eliminate your position today, depending on your state they won't pay out for the vacation days you accrued (and also EARNED as part of your original employment offer).

What the he-l are you thinking dude?

@et We only get paid for 40. If you think it's toxic to NOT work more than 40 - you have Stockholm's Syndrome. But, cucks are gonna cuck!

@ef I don’t know many salaried people working 40 hours a week.

Most work way more than 45….

Again, I can see why the IT teams are getting replaced. Toxic as fu-k

@e4 You donate 5 hours a week to Cigna, and turn down promotions. Saint Cordani!

@dr I’m not stuck. Have B5 opportunities. I started when I was 18.

I have great balance at this level and make good money. I prioritize family time currently. I work around 45 hours a week and have great flexibility.

@bx my comments from a HB4. If you are living in fear, that is your first problem. Influence what you can and deliver at a high level. I’ve been playing this game for damn near 20 years.

All the whining and crying is for pu----s.

I'm pretty sure they have AI design all their speeches. "Please write me a grammatically correct speech using corporate speak verbiage. Avoid alphabetical order and any topic that could be construed as instructive."

@az This guy gets it! It's simple, people - right in front of our faces. Our transformation initiative leverages AI-enabled, cloud-native synergy orchestration to democratize centralized autonomy while maximizing stakeholder value creation through holistic governance optimization.

We are synergistically optimizing our functional architecture to empower local accountability loops while institutionalizing a single source of truth through a cost-mitigating, shared-services matrix.

Decentralized Stakeholder Empowerment

Agile Accountability: Shifting tactical execution to localized business units maximizes regional agility.

Autonomous Pivotability: P&L owners can pivot dynamically without navigating a legacy approvals matrix.

Centralized Operational Efficiencies

Redundancy Elimination: Consolidating repetitive skillsets mitigates costly personnel overlaps across legacy silos.

Optimized Shared Services: Standardizing infrastructure via a centralized utility model drives enterprise-wide compliance.

@OP Obviously we continue to find synergy in the vertical thinkspace, but the challenge is to reverticalize tokens and collectively create individual successes.

Agree have seen this shift in my org. My SLTs do well funding essential items and deprioritizing non value work/resources
