I fail to understand that.
If you were previously employed with Oracle, but you quit or were let go with a severance, those were the terms you agreed to when you signed up. The severance is actually a bonus because Oracle could have gotten rid of you just by paying the notice period.
If you are currently employed with Oracle, this situation d-mbfounds me even more. Why would you want the ship you are sailing in to sink? If you are not comfortable for any reason, just jump ship. It's not Oracle's problem that the job market is bad out there.
If neither of the above is applicable, why on earth would you wish ill on an entity you are not even connected to?
