Thread regarding U.S. Bank layoffs

No, I don't trust this leadership

Every town hall, they ask us to trust leadership's vision. But vision doesn't pay the bills when half your team gets laid off. We've watched promises get walked back, strategies flip quarterly, and executives cash out while we scramble. So no, I'm done trusting leadership. I think they let us down one time too many for that.

@br you're discounting what people who are down in it every day know and see. Just because someone isn't at the level of the MC doesn't mean they don't have the ability to see the long term ramifications of the decisions being made as a result of this "vision". If you blindly trust their "vision" you're going to be in for a rude awakening with the impacts come for you.

Just because you lick their boots doesn't make you immune to a RIF.

OMfG! Give it a rest OP. Who said you are even remotely capable of judgement and vision of Leadership at those levels? Ge-z ... the lack of self-awareness is off the charts with your whiners out here. If you don't like it ... leave!

The vision doesnt necessarily matter long term to these executives. Anyone on the MC is more than capable of retiring today and living comfortably the rest of their lives - while we are going to be toiling away for decades.
Get the stock price up, get big bonuses, the future -- and all of the rest of us -- be damned
