There will be heavy push for AI driven automation and closure of projects at top level

With stock price getting down, there will be heavy push for AI driven automations every day pressuring employees to automate.

Note that once you automate your position is gone

Getting laid off will be a logistical hassle and an income loss for almost everyone, but no one will miss this pisspoor leadership and lack of any vision at all beyond a shallow profit motivation and a hatred of their employees. They should really be laying off senior leadership as we'd get more done without them.

Oracle released CPU that contains fixes for 1235 unique CVEs in 1449 https://www.tenable.com/blog/oracle-july-2026-critical-patch-update-addresses-1235-cves

Normally our Oracle staff wont be able to do that without help from AI. Its good for software community. If Oracle doesnt some one else will and its bad press.

Any ways we are there now. Machines are taking over. If Oracle succeeds AI story, others will.

It’s been happening for a year. Dev & QA teams are required to use (train) Codex - and mgmt keeps track of laggards and slow adopters.

Layoffs in Fusion later this year (Oct-Nov) will shock a lot of people.
