This has been true of IBM for decades, ever since S360 in 1964 and the day Tom Watson Jr retired, IBM has been late to the party. Then the clowns took over and the decline and rot set in during the 1970s and 1980s and continues to this day. How could a well managed company possibly justify having a clueless CEO like Ginni "what's the cloud ?" Rometty for 8 years and now a wannabe CEO like AK who caused $70 billion of market value to evaporate in one day.
