My managers is a complete pr--k and a complete narcissist. He checks all of these boxes. I wish he would disappear.
Most of us are narcissistic nowadays

When we could barely scrape food shelter and safety reliably each winter it was a different story
Anyone riding to the top and becoming executives is going to be like this
@glh+1nJi27eK - Totally nailed it. That description applies to the majority of the sh-t for brains big bank rejects brought on in the past few years.
All of these apply to me. My AVP and VP do every single one of these 10 things.
Absolutely. Plus, the Dunning–Kruger affect is very much in place. The Dunning-Kruger affect is when people with low ability, expertise, or experience WILDLY overestimate their ability to do the work of a specialist. Like a psychiatrist suddenly charging into the operating room, grabbing the scalpel in their ungloved, unwashed hand and saying, “I’m going to finish this quadruple bypass.” When the board-certified cardiologist with decades of experience objects, they shriek, “I’m your boss! You’re being insubordinate!”…and so, of course, the patient dies. The psychiatrist then goes to the family and says, “that cardiologist just ki-led your loved one.” This happens to me EVERY FU----G DAY.
