Lack of Respect at Ford (Cloud Platform Model E)

I moved out of Ford and joined a new company. One thing that I noticed is that people are respected well in my new company.

I was working in Cloud Platform (Model E) and the culture was very toxic and People leaders never respected the GSRs. The arrogance was reflected in the top leader LL3 JW and it seems that culture trickled down to all LLs

While at Ford, we were always threatened with low ratings, and bonuses and were always asked to be available 247 and all this BS came from JW

In my new company, people are motivated and everybody gives their 100% or more. People are available whenever it is required. In fact, software platforms and products are highly available and generating revenues (far far better than Ford :P)

That culture of elitism and superiority emanates from the Ford family itself. They are fascinated with a European-influenced snobby outlook on the world.

The majority of the H1Bs act like their sh-t don’t stink and get to take long leaves of absences to handle their personal problems, but manage horrifically internally. There’s a reason it’s called the Ford Brown Mafia.

In about 5 years it will be a shell of a company that crashed and burned due to overpromising unrealistic targets and underperformance from the Brown Mafia. That’s their way and always has been so they don’t look bad for their incompetence or unwillingness to take GSR feedback seriously in the day to day work. Sorry for harsh truths but it’s extremely rampant at Ford.

Yeah already have issues. The mandatory ethics training we had to take just reeked of irony and completely tone deaf. Ofc you can’t report any problems at Ford. Everyone that has reported received retaliation.

Entire Ford (no exception) is toxic and completely fu---d up. Everyone should get the he-l out of here as soon as possible and work in good companies. You will develop mental health issues if you continue at Ford.
