Anyone know when this will go into effect and what it actually is? Can people "level up" between bands or just within their own? Does it benefit anyone other than those who already got the title change?

Level up is being reintroduced soon as Level OUT
Lipstick on a p*g.... nothing will change with this process, because the culture has not changed. They shuffle the deck, and call it something new - but in the end, nothing changes.
So in which months do employees get promoted?
May/June is not the interval, it's when it's expected for the cycle to start.
May/June to maybe tie in with our mid year self assessments or a lull in between other initiatives?
Why May/June spread? is the LevelUp promotion are awarded in the span of 60 days?
Opportunities for a band 7? Maybe a new band 6 light between consultant and senior manager. Will they be unveiling Sr Consultant?
All band 6 and below are included. Next cycle should be in May/June.
Does anyone know when band 7 will be able to participate in level up? or what opportunity this gives band 7?
'Money gets spent but a title is forever'
Craziest thing to be rolling out a concept of promoting people like it's ground breaking. Most places have promotions.
level up for upper management, all B.s
Thank you! This sounds potentially great but will see how it actually plays out post-pilot
Its twice a year process (jun,oct/nov) for promotions for Individual contributors in band 6 and 7 and ppl leaders in band 6. first pilot came into effect on dec 24th and from this year it will be twice a year
This is the correct answer, except that it also includes non-exempt. So all mgt bands below 5. However, it can be done organizationally or by specific job profiles. So it's not an everyone or no one. Like everything else in the company it depends on org budgets.
None of my leaders know what’s “level up”. I do not think they will give promotion to anyone. It’s just a charades
@rsm+1qq8pDD1, so band 7 and below cannot participate in Level up?
reminds me of a scene from a Cheers episode!

I expect it’ll be a formal process to specifically tell me twice a year that I won’t be getting a promotion in my role instead of not telling me at all.

It went into effect on December 24th, affecting bands 5, 6 only
