Execs and the c-suite received much more up to the 27 million the CEO John Stankey gets a year. Former CEO Randall Stephenson receives $275k a month plus perks and 1 million a year consulting back while in “retirement”. Massive Inflation over the last 4 years
Huge Cost of living increases in CA and NV
Cost of Housing in CA and NV
Risking lives while working during the Pandemic; loss of life of members due to COVID at work. Working during the pandemic while managers relaxed in the safety of their homes.
The Raise amounts that UPS or Auto workers received.
Minimum wage increases not keeping up with wages.
Our Healthcare costs eat all wage increases we have received.
We reminded the company that they profited 16 billion last year.
THEY. DON’T. CARE.
They don’t care about you. They don’t care about your family. You are just a UUID and an expense to the company. They believe that you should be grateful to work here. This is not an isolated incident but rather a pattern of behavior we have witnessed for over a decade.
When the Union told the company that the members could not afford gigantic proposed medical deductibles, they responded by saying:

After months of bargaining, the company flat-out refuses to provide a single item that is beneficial to you. They insist on the Union only accepting items that benefit the company. If we want to gain any minor item to improve your work or personal life they demand an unfair trade where they need to come out on top. They will not simply agree to a single proposal that would be beneficial to YOU. “
