For those posting about how the reports are broken, no one cares about RTO anymore, etc.

Everyone in VP Jeff Luong's Org (Engineering and Operations rolling up to Sambar) just received an email reiterating the Living Your Designation expectations, concluding: "Adhering to workplace designation is an expectation of employment.  Not meeting work location reporting expectations will be subject to discipline, up to and including termination of employment"

I'd expect other orgs will be seeing similar proclamations.

Most likely a targeted email to those not complying so they can show HR that it was communicated multiple times and if the person is still not complying than they can get formally disciplined

This is a good point. Luong seemed to soften his tone at his last Town Hall. This email is a much harder tone and stance. I suspect this came from above him.

Makes you wonder why this org was targeted with this email stating you could be terminated. When RTO policy came out, it said this directly in the HR policy, that you could be terminated for not living your designation. But why did they explicitly send the email? Sounds like something more is about to happen. Good luck sandbar org, pls post what happens.

My normal pre COVID was a cubicle with 5ft walls, a window, and a visitor chair. Never worried about my docking station, monitors, or mouse going missing. And I could leave everything at my desk year round! Oh, the memories!

To the genius who said people under Sambar didn’t get it because they are being rebadged to Ericsson. I am quite familiar with contract , it includes no such thing. In fact Chris has repeatedly stated publicly and privately if ever such a suggestion or direction was suggested or taken , most Of the leadership of his Org would resign. Stop with the BA rumors , it’s not happening and has never been discussed.

It is not hard to understand or comply with. It is what most of us were doing prior to COVID, it is also what most of us were hired under.
