So, at least for some, the policy seems to be that if you declined to move for Wave 2, they won't tell you your off payroll date until 2 weeks before. How are we supposed to manage projects and work if we know someone is leaving, but it might be in a couple of weeks, or it might not be for 6 months?
My thought is that by keeping it secret there is a better chance of the employee finding other employment and leaving before the 2 weeks notice, save the company the cost of severance.
But what a--holes. If I was in Wave 2 and declined the move, I'd be doing nothing except showing up.
