It continues to amaze me that really good people get caught in the wrong role and teams out of their control and that are let go without HR inventorying the quality and capability of these employees that could be placed elsewhere to make a solid impact with little to no cost of onboarding and training.
There are some really good L2 mgmt in the company. Those that the company has invested in and vice versa now turned into a number on a spreadsheet.
It wasn’t long ago when people were the “number one asset”. And now no talent is safe and talent is being managed worse than their products and operations.
