Thread regarding AT&T layoffs

There Needs To A Thorough Investigation

It's interesting how, right at the end of Q3, a wave of questionable chargebacks gets thrown into the compensation checks of business sellers. Is this an attempt to manipulate the numbers for Wall Street?

What’s worse is that sellers are given just two days to dispute these claims and prove their innocence. It seems that, at T, you're guilty until proven innocent. Two days might sound doable, but then you find out your submission gets placed in a queue of 400+ similar cases—so backed up that it isn’t even reviewed for over a week.

Leadership suggests submitting a CAIRR ticket, but anyone who's been through that process knows the reality. CAIRR’s site itself displays a bright yellow banner stating that the average response time is 30 days—just for an initial reply.

This entire process feels criminal.

Sounds about right…. Like OP Said Criminal

Statement below shows they are 100% doing this on purpose to fool Wall Street. We have a “6 month charge back policy” but yet they are charging back sales from 18 months ago trying to find money.

“ Sales compensation is over budget - reclamation of previous payments is necessary to stay under budget.
The two day timeframe was put in place so we could make the quarter.”

Why doesn't someone write a mass anonymous email and copy Stankey and everyone down in the sales channel to the seller level. That’ll make them do something.

Just do the needful and it is all good.

Why insult this person when it’s you doesn’t follow the post.

I'm not in the org but this is clearly a sales org specific thing where AT&T is questioning the validity of some sales activity. And in reverse, the Op is questioning the validity of AT&T’s process/tactics so close to the end of the Quarter.

Both things can be true of course.

OP is trying to tell us they are stupid without telling us they are stupid.

Maybe. Just think about this carefully. Take a few minutes to collect yourself. And moving forward just stop trying to scam the system.
