This is an excerpt from the companies bargaining statement last night. Let’s keep in mind what free cash flow was back in 1997 when health care was 100% free. They said the same thing back then that healthcare cost were unsustainable. Now that free cash flow is 20 times what it was and growing they are still repeating this lie. Let’s hope the federal mediators can see how AT&T profits have risen over the last 25 years and executive pay as well. The big problem is not employee pay it’s executives making the worst decisions in history such as buying cable tv companies during a cord cutting.
