Buckle up everyone! 2025 is going to be more exciting than ever! Prepare for more dishonest performance reviews and an increasingly toxic culture shift as managers look to find ways to give inconsistently meets for 10% of their teams, regardless of how they did on their goals/kpi's.

I suggest everyone document everything, as your manager and peers are now adversaries who can no longer be trusted. If you find yourself at the bottom of the pack, it may be a good idea to consult with an employment attorney.

Do not come to me for help. I will not risk getting pushed toward the bottom 10%.

Lots of Tech comments here. The rest of us have been more than 10% for a while. HR says 5/15/60/15/5 is what the balance (tho not forced hahahahahaha) should be. It really doesn’t take but two quiet quitters in a group of ten to meet this. Are you saying it’s less than that? Hard facts. Do I agree? He-l no but we have been living this for several years.

It is going to be brutal in Tech. BE ordered managers to make significant changes and move large numbers below meets. Many good workers who have heard nothing but praise all year will be blindsided.
