Everyone that is getting laid off by location strategy has known for 10 months.
@1inv What kind of neutral criteria?
typically known by directors/md's months prior. 1 over 1's do selections by pool, grouping similar folks together and then picking based on neutral criteria. managers might not ever know until the day of if they are in their own layoff pool.
Every year they select an amount of people to be laidoff per year. Every other Tuesday those selected get a meeting and given notice. HOW they select these people is still a mystery.
When Chuckles was hired.
A year ago, I had several months notice of displacements planned for my team (as a Dir. in CIB), now it’s all no notice in CIB.
Yesterday
Manager said they did not know until a couple days before.
It’s usually two weeks before you get your notice but pry on the rader much longer.
Back in 2019 or 2020 or so.
