You will never, be given any raise that is any less than pitifully insulting for the amount of work you do. Think 1% or less every few years, if you are lucky to get any at all... Meaningful bonuses are awarded to sales people only, and if you are, your quotas will not be achievable. Oracle is useful if you want to come and get some experience - but only if you need a flexible, steady job and don't give a penny about a career, especially if you are a lady.
Be sure to understand the organizational chart before you decide to join because facts don't lie, and you will see very few women in leadership or management positions - there is good reason for this, if you have family you will find it almost impossible to work here. For the most part there is a lot of so called leadership, mostly folks who spent decades at Oracle and who learned the political game (which is brutal) - they know Oracle and nothing else.
They are ruthless and supreme back-stabbers. Try suggesting any change to them - it'll be shot down very quickly. Try to call their attention to innovation or improvement - you may be laid off. Such culture is not good for anybody's career - personal growth will be limited. The company is managed top down, when they need to make numbers they will cut staff, this will happen trust me. There will be layoffs always, and if the economy slows down, huge layoffs will follow - Oracle is not kidding here - I've seen it in 2013, 2014 and 2015 - all three years we set records as it relates to revenue but we still laid off a ton of people.
