Thread regarding Intel Corp. layoffs

Where to get Separation and Release agreement?

I was let go via ISP on July 1st. A few weeks before and up until now I have sent multiple requests for the "Separation and Release" documentation but have never received anything via email or regular mail. Have you received this and if so, how/where? I am hoping this will not turn into a legal fiasco.

Cheers to my fellow unemployed colleagues.

I too have not received the release agreement. The notification documents and summary plan description given to us in May promised that we would receive the agreement a "few weeks" BEFORE the term date. Here it is 2 weeks AFTER the term date and still no dice.

This is very unfortunate for us because I can't see how this won't result in an unnecessary delay in the variable separation payment. This, of course, IMO represents another breach by Intel because they promised to make this payment "as soon as administratively feasible" after the term date. They clearly cut into the bone with their HR staff and those impacted by ACT are the ones incurring the cost.

I believe there are many people in the June 30 "round" who have not received their agreement. Apparently, the "below 40" version of the agreement has just been sent out, but they are still working on the "over 40" version which should be sent soon.

If they don't get their act together quick they might get burned under ERISA.

I had received my SRA document three weeks after I received my ISP on April 25th.

re: "I didn't see any big legal issues, beside something about never being allowed to say anything bad about the company, lol. "

So.... we're only allowed to say bad things about the company while we're still employed, but mum's the word once we leave? O....K then! Makes perfect sense! lol

I could have sworn I printed out my ERP when I got it but now can't find it in the mountain of paper work I have related to ERP and SS/Medicare transition. I pinged HR at several different email addresses I was given but have not received a reply. The one for ERP was pretty straightforward; I didn't see any big legal issues, beside something about never being allowed to say anything bad about the company, lol. But I need it as proof for my SS/Medicare needs reassessment and am having difficulty getting a copy. You can try HR Help line but they told me they couldn't help. 1-800-238-0486. I'll probably give it another try myself.

When I was ISPed at the end of April, I received the release document by regular mail around May 23.

Yes, I received mine as soon as I hit the button to accept the ERP. I don't think I should paste it here though. Plus, it's sprinkled throughout with 'ERP' so not sure if it's the same agreement.

With that said, I Googled for it and while I didn't find the exact agreement, I did find a site you and others might find helpful. There might be some different contacts there: http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/employee/leaving-intel.html

Good luck.
