I remember the days when CISCO was a great place in which employees enjoyed to go into and walk out of happy. Back then, we had some great leaders, leaders who had vision and cared about the company and its employees.
But now, with this “leadership” everything comes down to a simple sum of numbers, every employee is just a number. If one expresses his human side, the "management" sees that as a weakness. No room for creativeness, no room for illness, just room for “go faster, your time ticks”; faster to meet the goals which “the leaders” cowardly and intentionally set onto managers to ensure they couldn’t be successful - just to be sure that their layoffs’ quota will be met.
I doubt that this approach would give anything good, but I am sure that our “leadership” has no trouble sleeping with it at night.
As for my sleep, two facts really help. One is the fact that our character was never in question, and the other is thought that even our CEO’s time ticks.
