Hi guys/gals, I get on this website from time to time. (I believe some Qualcomm HR persons must also read these threads, for professional and personal reasons). I also believe, some Qualcomm executives must read these posts from time to time. If they don't, they are must be either very ignorant or just playing head burying ostrich.
Mostly, people complaint about
1) Company working culture;
2) Career advancement;
3) H1Bs;
(it seems that most people are satisfied with compensation and San Diego living).
Qualcomm should just openly talk about these problems to its employees. Why not? Elephant in the room.
"HR, do you really want us to do your job? identify the problems, propose solutions, democratically debate various options here, then you can impose them?" Do your DAMN job, and listen to the people!!!!!!!!!!!!! Geez, at least HR deserves to be let-go.
