Thread regarding Humana Inc. layoffs

My last day can't come soon enough

I have never worked for a company that did a 180 degree turn like Humana. When I started over 3 yrs ago we were told to build a rapport with mbrs and working with some of the same mbrs continously I did. I told everyone I loved my job. Then they pulled the rosters from us and we worked from lists dealing with people who were mad that Humana keeps calling them ....then put on the AD and this is the worst. The AD is so overrated... I made more calls when I had a roster.....these poor mbrs!! I am an "impacted" HCC and can't wait to leave this place. Unrealistic contact expectations which forces people to work unpaid OT. Humana does not care about mbrs OR their employees. My last day can't come soon enough. ...and I know the nurses feel the same way. It's a shame HAH could have been great.

No chance in "getting everybody together" to challenge anything, people are trying to save themselves by working hard and not being "negative", little do they know, doing the right thing might not save you in the end

the coms and coaches absolutely knew and know. They are lying to us to save their own skin. Which is going to be hilarious KARMA i presume. our com has told our coach ("in confidence".... lol...., that told her HCM buddy that privately shared with a few of us) that they are trying to thin people out, continuation of forcing people to quit, so that they can maintain their roles. I guess their hope is they end in some type of company distribution of these mid management fat that don't fall off the Titanic. This instead of mass layoffs which make the coms and coaches vulnerable to a clean chopping block. So the coach has told her buddy to "hang in there." This is so upsetting as there is no way to beat this. I wish everyone would just agree to chose a day and unite and agree to stick together and protest this abuse. Pick a day to unite and call each other into calls and refuse to call out. If our entire body would agree, it would really weed out their intentions. The writing has been on the wall. Wake UP! If MC is gone, that writing is in blood.

When were they asked to do this survey? Why is everything done so underhanded and sneakily? Why can't the be upfront and transparent?

WHaaaat?? So the coaches do know there will be cuts, but have no say in who goes, other than by survey? Can I ask what role you have? RN/PHC/SS? Did she say when the cuts were coming or how many? When was said survey given? Ahh. So many questions. Will be happy for answers, whatever that means.

Wow! My coach told me she had no idea who was getting let go. Humana is full of liars! No wonder they can't get a merger. They have issues. The coaches were given a survey about each team member. Based on the surveys it let you know who will stay and who will go. Newetrics are ridiculous! All the jobs say they care about the employees....how?? When?? I call bull...
