You all know they got rid of the ones who helped build them into the Giant they are/were in Communities they opened doors in, right? Ya know, the ASMs who are in their 50's that kicked butt with keeping sales up, moral high, cared about the hourly associates, worked side by side with them and even took heat for their dept mgrs so things didn't hit their file, earned their increases on pay and promoted associates... Those are the ones that were rid of, just like the dept mgrs that were given a year to find a job. Understand it is the good ole boy rule, no matter if you are the glue that kept things going and reviews that rock and awesome letters on file with Corp from customers who took the time to let Corp know how much the ASM is appreciated, how much they appreciated the Hrly Dept Mgr... Proof and Truth is seen with what is going on in these stores, it prooves ASMs rid of did go above and beyond as to why they held positions for years. 3 stores that we know of alone Moral Dropped, Sales Down, Ghost Town and Lowes puts out there the BS reason of their Restructure. Uh huh to give "better service by putting associates more out there ect..." Oh and Rumor Has It that Lowes will be making it to where 1 Store Mgr will have to run 2 Stores, so Store Mgrs looks to be on their list of giving the Boot. Not to mention Human Resource People will be too.

Lowes puts out there how they are hiring ex amt of people. Oh please, this is not true. They hire pt time every darn yr on seasonal, so no this is not new. News puts out there layoff 500, no it is in the Thousands. 1 to 3 ASMs in each Store is over 2400 alone, 8 Dept mgrs in each store, back end of the stores... Do the math plus Hrs and Rumor of Store Mgrs...
Bad investment in early 2016 with Lowes buying Shares at approx 24.00 ea and only worth approx 12.00 ea in a Home Improvement Store in Canada. What, just so they can get their feet in the door to try and rub another Home Improvement Store out? Research it and ask why did their Financial Person back then decided to "Retire". Yea they care about the employees, of which affects customers in the end... Now what was the reason for this "Restructure" again??? Boils down to the Stock Holders, not employees or putting more out there to provide more for the customers... Yea there ya go!
