Thread regarding Walmart layoffs

FYI the AES scores for Ecommerce includes india

Then numbers were bad, but the only reason the score was as high for (would you recommend to work at walmart) was because India was included . As you should know, Walmart India is taking on a lot of the work that was once done In the USA.

My sr leader literally bragged how although their USA numbers were so low that the numbers in India were very high

Even if I had some somewhat harsh feedback to give in grassroots I wouldn't say it. I would be too afraid that would put me on the layoff list.

@P78ja3M-2tdm Always reserve your grass roots feedback for the form and be an interested listener during the meetings unless you can think of something positive to say

why don't they out source management in ISD. Do they really do much at all besides ask when things are getting done? If you work in ISD you know what I mean

I was warned by a friend not to say anything in the grass roots session at home office. He said it would result in my being targeted for layoffs. Is this true?

As far as AES goes there are both veiled and real threats, it's very sad it is tolerated.

Awhile back, our sr. "leader" got bad scores, kicked everyone off his team who he thought gave him bad scores, then threatened his remaining team members while bragging that he connived HR into giving the remaining team an off-cycle AES so he could get another shot and improve his scores. Guess what? His scores improved tremendously after he threatened his team, lol.

The problem with this beside it being wrong, is when people see leadership manipulating surveys, threatening people and other bad behavior, it leads to a "me-too, everyone is doing it mindset," which opens up the company for all sorts of fraud and abuse.

This is just part of their plan to continue reductions in Bentonville and increase offshore. More and more work is being shifted to India. A lot of NEW work is going there too. Just wait - you will see.

Scores were low in our area too. I don't feel like leadership cares.

The Indians have high scores because they are getting the high paying jobs

If that's true, it almost seems like your sr leader was making a veiled threat given the current environment.

Some grammatical errors aye?? I assume you mean the numbers instead of "then". Also assuming you mean "and" that the India numbers were very high.

You make a good point though
