Thread regarding Verizon Communications Inc. layoffs

Game of Verizon

I was going through Glassdoor reviews for Verizon (by the way, are all those people who are leaving overwhelmingly positive reviews working at the same company I am?) and ran into this:

After several major acquisitions like Yahoo and Aol, the culture has become a Game of Thrones where leadership is more concerned about preserving their org structure than leveraging the best of breed across the different companies within Verizon.

Thought it a really apt description of the current situation at the top.

Don't bother perusing Glassdoor for VZ reviews...they're paid well to remove the negative posts, hence you won't find one.

Brianna doesn't fit in because she's honorable to a fault.

OK. I'll play.

Lowell is a Whitewalker king

Marni wishes she were Daenerys Targaryen but she's now really more like Catelyn Stark at the Red Wedding

Stratton is Tywin Lannister

Brian Angiolet is King Geoffrey except that Geoffrey was better liked by people who worked with him.

Ewrin would like to be Cersei Lannister but she's really just a female version of Little Finger.
